Coalition name:

Blaine County Community Health Action Team (BCCHAT)

St. Rose Catholic Church Hall

900 N. Clarence Nash Blvd.  Watonga, Ok 73772

Date/time of meeting:

First Tuesday of each month from 12 pm to 1 pm

Mission Statement of primary goal of coalition:

The mission of BCCHAT shall be to enhance the quality of life of all citizens of Blaine County.

This group includes monthly reports from the following groups and/or grant funded projects:

Great Plains Systems of Care, Healthy Living Grant, Youth and Family Services (The SPOT), Health Department Updates, Opportunities, Inc.,Oklahoma Family Network/Children's Behavioral Health Network, Turning Point, RPC, OJA, OSU Extension, Oklahoma Health Care Authority, Department of Human Services and Sooner SUCCESS 

Past coalition projects, awards, highlights and/or accomplishments:

Providing disability awareness activities during county wide 5th Grade Girl Power / Wise Guys and 8th Grade Wellness Day.

Providing free dental care at county schools through the mobile dental van in partnership with the Oklahoma Dental Foundation.

Participating in the International Walk to School Day.  Encouraging and promoting physical activity.

Current areas of need the group is working on:

Working on starting a Respite Program in Watonga.
