Medical Consultation on Child Abuse Examinations and Expert Witness Testimony

Mary Ellen Stockett, M.D. obtained her medical degree at The University of Oklahoma and completed her Pediatric Residency at the Children’s Hospital at The University of Oklahoma Medical Center.She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics and Child Abuse Pediatrics.She practiced general pediatrics and child abuse pediatrics in Florida 15 for years where she was the Medical Director of the Brevard County, Florida Child Protection Team from 2005 to 2013.Dr. Stockett returned to Oklahoma and joined OU Children’s Physicians in July 2013 where she now works providing child maltreatment medical evaluation as part of the Child Protection Team at the Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center.She teaches medical personnel, social workers, mental health providers, legal professionals and law enforcement officers in various forums regarding child maltreatment.
