Sooner SUCCESS recently partnered with their coalition members and the Bennie's Barn Equine Center to design and create the first Sensory Trail Ride in the state of Oklahoma.  The executiver director of Bennie's Barn, Chip Baker, originally brought the idea of the sensory trail to the coalition has a potential project and the with the leadership of Sooner SUCCESS coordinator Deana Wilson, the coalition immediately embraced the idea and contributed interactive station ideas, man hours to create the stations, and collaboration to raise funds for the trail through community donations and sponsors.  Everything culminated in a wonderful ribbon cutting ceremony with the Enid Chamber of Commerce Ambassodors to officially open the trail on October 8th, 2016.  In addition to wagon rides through the new trail, the day also offered lots of family friendly fun - interaction with the center's horses, a BBQ lunch, the Imagination playground, a silent auction, visits with Miss Olivia, the pot beliied pig and lots of fun games for the kids.
