If you live in Collinsville, Skiatook, Owasso, or Sperry and are: a law enforcement officer, school SRO, firefighter, emergency responder, school counselor or healthcare provider: the Northern Tulsa County Coalition, Sooner Success Rogers/Tulsa Counties, and the Tulsa Health Department Collinsville Health Center are hosting a free training:
Recognition, Response & Administration of NALOXONE.
May 16, 3-4 p.m., Collinsville Health Center
Naloxone is a safe, easy to use nasal spray used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and restores the person's breathing
Everyone attending will receive a free Naloxone kit, but you must register at the link below.
The training is presented free by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
We have 50 slots available, and if those aren't filled up, we will open the event to public registration.
