Blaine CHIO partners with Opportunities, Inc.

The Blaine CHIO recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Opportunities, Inc. to who will serve as the Blaine CHIO 501c3.

The Blaine CHIO is a Community Health Improvement Organization that was established to encourage and improve sharing among healthcare providers, and improve health in the community. The CHIO concept was developed by Dr. Jim Mold, MD, MPH. He is the founder and former President of the Oklahoma Physician’s Resource/Research Network (OKPRN).

The Blaine CHIO along with Okeene Municipal Hospital and Mercy Hospital Watonga received funding from Healthy Hearts for Oklahoma (H2O), which was used to purchase Diabetic, Hypertension and Congestive Heart Failure kits to be distributed to patients in need.
