Tulsa County Coalitions

NEW: Northern Tulsa County Resources Coalition

The mission of the Northern Tulsa County Resources Coalition is to provide and promote community-based information, assistance, advocacy on public issues and concerns involving northern Tulsa County. It is a grassroots, collaborative effort of agencies, churches and organizations that work together to directly impact the quality of life in Northern Tulsa County. Members are from the Collinsville, Skiatook, Sperry, and Owasso areas.

JumpStart Tulsa Action Coordination Coalition

JumpStart's goal is community mobilization for early childhood success. Early work focused on community engagement, informing early childhood professionals, parents, and the community about the importance of positive early childhood experiences for brain development and building a child's capacity for success in school and in life. JumpStart has sponsored awareness campaigns, conferences, and an Early Childhood Leadership Forum series.

All meetings are at 3 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at the Community Service Council in Tulsa, located at 1601 S. Main.

Ready to Learn Coalition

Sooner Success is also a proud member of the Ready to Learn through OETA. The Coalition is set to start meeting in December. Please check back for updated information.

Ready to Learn is a community engagement and outreach program designed to support the education of Oklahoma’s early learners. Leveraging OETA’s world-class children’s television programming like Curious George, SuperWhy and Cat in the Hat, the Ready to Learn program empowers teachers and caregivers with tools and training while maximizing every opportunity for learning in traditional and non-traditional learning environments.
