Major County Community Coalition has been working hard to finalize event details for the Third Annual Fifth Grade Wellness Day.  The event will be on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Major County Fairgrounds.  Students from all major county schools in the fifth grade have been invited to attend the event.  Students and teachers will learn from breakout sessions covering topics about internet safety, nutrition, physical activity, tobacco use, self-esteem, self-regulation, poison prevention and others.  Many organizations come together to make this event happen each year.  If you are interested is helping with the event please contact Melissa Powell at (580) 744-1910.  The next planning meeting for the event will be Tuesday, November 15 at 12:30 at NW Technology Center.
