Mustang SIBSHOPS & Respite- Back to School Bash

Published: Monday, October 17, 2016

August 27th Sooner SUCCESS Canadian County hosted a Back to School Bash with Mustang First Baptist Church-Mustang. We brought in some speakers from ODLC, DRS, & CoP to provide valuable information for parents. Siblings participated in our SIBSHOP program. Kiddos with special needs enjoyed making self advocacy notebooks and learning some dance steps from Aspiring Attitudes. All the kids had a great time meeting with the Extreme Animals Roadshow. We ended the program with providing a catered meal from Swadley's BBQ. We had a great partner in OU's Live to Give volunteer group who so generously provided funding and a bunch of great volunteers!
