Oklahoma Sibling Leadership Network

OKSIBS is a recognized chapter of the Sibling Leadership Network

Sooner SUCCESS launched OKSIBS in 2017 and is now an official recognized chapter of (SLN) - www.siblingleadership.org.  SLN is a national nonprofit based out of Chicago, IL and is dedicated to providing support and information to siblings of people with disabilities across the lifespan. 

This program is for adult siblings that have grown up with a brother or sister with special needs.  We are currently looking for adult siblings to get together with other adult siblings in a relaxed social environment.  If you are interested to learn more, please contact sooner-success@ouhsc.edu.

Share Your Story as a Parent with a Disability

We are asking Oklahoma parents who have any type of disability to tell us about their experiences. What has gone right, what has gone wrong, and what kind of help or support might have made things easier.

Participating in the survey is completely voluntary. All survey results will be kept strictly anonymous.

You may complete the survey without giving us your name or address. However, we would like to thank you for your time and effort. If you would like to receive a $10 Walmart gift card for completing our online survey, please share your contact information at the end of the survey (limited to first 75 completed online surveys).

If you would prefer to complete the survey as a personal phone interview and receive a $20 Walmart gift card, please contact Sooner SUCCESS toll free at 1-877-441-0434 and leave a brief message where you mention the "parents with disabilities survey" and then include your name and number (limited to first 35 completed interviews).

Sooner SUCCESS is committed to supporting our Siblings of all ages. This initiative is specifically for our older siblings that are no longer participating in Sibshops. Members can include siblings, friends, spouses, and those that recognize the importance of supporting siblings.
